The timber that was to be used was carefully selected, after measurements at the cabin, and carved in Rolvsvåg. It was called to dawn to get the barka sticks, and people lined up. After barking, the logs were marked with location on the hut and added to dry, under roof.

We got the roof tiles from Malvin Lønningdal.
